Responsible messaging

Acceptable use policy

Wazzl is for legitimate customer conversations. These rules protect contacts, workspace customers, providers, and the service.

Effective 24 August 2026Report misuse: [email protected]

1. Your responsibility

Workspace owners are responsible for the people they invite, the phone numbers and provider accounts they connect, the contacts they communicate with, and the messages their team sends. Use Wazzl only when you have lawful authority to do so and follow all applicable Meta and WhatsApp policies.

2. Messaging and consent

  • Message only people your organisation is permitted to contact.
  • Respect opt-outs, blocks, quiet hours, service-window rules, template requirements, and channel-specific consent rules.
  • Identify the business accurately and do not use misleading sender names or impersonate another person or organisation.
  • Do not buy, scrape, guess, or unlawfully share contact lists.
  • Do not send spam, repeated unwanted messages, deceptive promotions, or content designed to manipulate provider quality controls.

3. Prohibited content and conduct

Do not use Wazzl to create, store, or send content that:

  • is unlawful, fraudulent, deceptive, threatening, harassing, exploitative, or discriminatory;
  • facilitates violence, trafficking, child sexual abuse or exploitation, or non-consensual intimate content;
  • infringes privacy, confidentiality, intellectual-property, publicity, or other rights;
  • contains malware, credential theft, phishing, malicious links, or instructions intended to compromise systems;
  • misrepresents health, financial, legal, or other high-impact advice in a harmful or unlawful way; or
  • violates applicable provider commerce, messaging, or restricted-goods policies.

4. Security and platform integrity

  • Do not probe, scan, stress, reverse engineer, or attempt to bypass Wazzl’s authentication, rate limits, workspace isolation, provider controls, or access restrictions.
  • Do not access another workspace, account, contact, attachment, or message without explicit authorisation.
  • Do not upload malicious code or use automation that degrades Wazzl or a connected provider.
  • Do not share user accounts or expose access tokens, app secrets, webhook secrets, or passwords.
  • Report suspected vulnerabilities through the security contact and avoid accessing data beyond what is necessary to describe the issue.

5. Data handling

Collect and place in Wazzl only the data needed for a legitimate customer-service purpose. Apply appropriate access roles, delete data when it is no longer needed, and do not use Wazzl as a repository for passwords, payment-card numbers, government identifiers, health records, or other highly sensitive information unless Wazzl has expressly agreed an appropriate use and safeguards in writing.

6. Enforcement

Wazzl may investigate credible reports, restrict a risky integration or function, preserve relevant evidence, or suspend access where reasonably necessary to protect people, providers, customers, or the service. Where practical and lawful, Wazzl will explain the concern and allow corrective action. Serious harm, legal requirements, or provider instructions may require immediate action.

7. Reporting misuse

Email [email protected] with the workspace or business name, the type of concern, when it occurred, and a safe way to contact you. Do not email credentials or unnecessary message content. Reports do not guarantee a particular outcome and may require identity or context checks.

8. Changes

This policy may be updated as the service, law, and provider requirements change. The effective date above identifies the current public version.
